It traps dust, fibers, and oil particles from the air, preventing them from entering the equipment and affecting heat dissipation and circuit performance. Made from high-density woven nylon fibers, it offers excellent breathability and filtration efficiency, and can be repeatedly washed with water or neutral detergent without degradation. Standard mesh sizes are available in densities of 30PPI, 40PPI, and 60PPI, covering a full range of needs from micro 3D printer fans to large industrial cabinet fans. It can be used with a wire mesh cover for integrated dust protection and filtration.

Will the nylon filter affect fan airflow?
In a brand new, clean condition, airflow loss is typically no more than 10%. As dust accumulates, air resistance increases, so regular cleaning is recommended to maintain ventilation efficiency.
How do I clean it? How often should I clean it?
Rinse with water or gently brush with a soft brush. Do not rub. It can be used again after drying. Depending on the amount of dust in the environment, it is generally recommended to clean it every 1-3 months.
How do I attach it to the fan?
We offer three common methods: adhesive-backed (attached to the outer frame of the fan air inlet), press-fit (directly embedded into the groove on the fan air inlet surface), and screw-fixed (align with the fan holes and tighten with screws). Please specify your preferred method when ordering.
Are there matching mounting screws?
Generally, a set of mounting screws (the length is suitable for standard installation thicknesses) is included with the mesh cover. If a special length is required, please specify separately.
