Does it really keep out dust when closed?
When closed, the louvers overlap, blocking most settled dust and flying insects. For a higher dustproof level, a nylon filter can be installed inside the louvers for double protection.
Will installing louvers affect the fan’s airflow?
The impact is minimal. When open, the louvers are nearly parallel to the airflow, resulting in a much lower drag coefficient than ordinary dust filters. Airflow loss is generally less than 2%.
How do I attach it to the fan?
We offer three common methods: adhesive-backed (attached to the outer frame of the fan air inlet), press-fit (directly embedded into the groove on the fan air inlet surface), and screw-fixed (align with the fan holes and tighten with screws). Please specify your preferred method when ordering.
Are there matching mounting screws?
Generally, a set of mounting screws (the length is suitable for standard installation thicknesses) is included with the mesh cover. If a special length is required, please specify separately.
